      Prop Nut for Dynam propellers

      2.95 quantity:

Here at Warbirds we are constantly trying to provide solutions to little problems that our customers may encounter during a build.

With a growing preference for electric propulsion on our models , we are constantly struggling with the availability of brushless motors, scale propellers and spinners.

These are some of the very few items that we don't make in house and consequently we do our upmost to find them even when they are thin on the ground.

A popular combination at the moment is the 3 bladed propeller from Dynam fitted to the 3" plastic spinner on our site . This combined with our 580KV or 600KV motors provides a very efficient and good looking package .

However the prop shaft length can be very marginal with this combination, leaving the standard prop nut struggling to pick up the threads.

To that end we have machined a special nut which has a collar that can be sunk into the propeller boss by lightly countersinking the front face , (It usually will almost cut its own path) allowing the nut to reach further up the prop shaft and retain a good grip.

The additional cost of the nut is easily justified as the Dynam propellers are much cheaper than an equivalent master airscrew propeller.

The thread is M8 for those of a technical persuasion!
